I'll be Taking Notes on this Major Coverage Shift

Tomorrow (March 2, 2011), the Academy of Insurance hosts the first session of a four-part, six-hour series on the new exposures created by "Green" building methods.

The last 18-to-24 months have seen several insurance carriers develop new property coverage forms aimed specifically at the "green" revolution happening in the construction industry.

Because of the coming shift in property coverage and property loss adjustment, we feel this training is an absolute must for anyone placing, underwriting or adjusting commercial property coverage.

Register today and use promo code GREEN to save 25% on registration for this online training series.

Right now "green" building property coverage is essentially limited to proprietary forms offered by a few national and regional carriers. But due to the growth of "green" construction methods, up 50% from 2008 to 2010, "green" property coverage forms will soon find their way to your desk. Have you read ISO's or AAIS's "green" risk forms?

Are you prepared to explain the coverage to your clients? Are you prepared to compare and contrast the coverages provided by each form? Are adjusters prepared to adjust claims using the new wording?

Certainly there will be a learning curve for all involved; don't you want to be out in front of the curve? Don't you want to be prepared to help your clients?

Well, I want to be prepared so I am planning on attending all four parts of the Green Risk Boot Camp. Beyond attending, I have several pens ready to take notes so that I can be prepared when questions arise about "green" property coverages.

I would very much like to see you in this class; please join me as we prepare for this inevitable change in commercial property coverage forms.

Register now for this important training series.

ps: don't forget to use promo code GREEN when you checkout to get 25% off your registration.

Sincerely,

Christopher J. Boggs, CPCU, ARM, ALCM, LPCS, AAI, APA, CWCA, CRIS, AINS
