Agents, Let Your Carriers In On a Secret

Agents, Let Your Carriers In On a Secret

The New Year is a time for resolutions, and you probably have a few when it comes to the health of your agency. Maybe one involves your carriers. Is there something you want to tell them - or an improvement you'd like to suggest to make your firm more productive and profitable?

For over a decade, Channel Harvest Research has facilitated deeper understanding between independent agents and their carriers. This year's study, Independent Agent Voices 2019, co-sponsored by Insurance Journal, is now open for owners, producers, CSRs and service teams to anonymously tell carriers what they need from them to succeed.

Here's your chance to anonymously register your opinions on important themes, including:
  • Growth and placing business with carriers
  • Marketing and quoting products
  • Most important qualities of a carrier (e.g. underwriting, claims and marketing)
  • Perpetuation planning
  • What a top carrier does that others don't or won't.
Channel Harvest partners with dozens of carriers, including nationals, super-regionals and smaller regionals to help define the questionnaire.

Regardless of their appointments, all independent agents are encouraged to take the survey because the results are distributed to many carriers seeking to improve their relationships.

Independent agents, please complete the confidential survey. At your option, you'll receive a summary of the findings and will be entered in a drawing for one of five $100 Visa gift cards. Your answers will be kept confidential.
